Has anyone seen the trailers for this movie yet?! I just saw the trailers and it looks FANTASTIC! I saw them at Quicktime’s website. I know this is off topic for this board, but I am willing to bet there are plenty of us in this community who read and loved this book. Go check out the trailers if you haven’t seen them yet.

Thanks for the heads up. I thought the old BBC version was like a bad episode of Dr. Who, so it would be nice to see the book done justice. Such is the case with books I suppose, everyone has thier own version of what characters should sound/be like in their head.

Dang it Ben, you gave away the answer! You should have said spoiler alert. <g> Anyone know if this new movie is a representation of just the first book? I hope so, and already look forward to the sequels!

From the trailers I saw it looks like just the first.
That’s not a spoiler… Considering those people likely have no idea what the question is. 
I always thought it was 2, 42, and Delaware. But us Canadians over-complicate things all the time.
So who else will be bringing a towel to the movie?
I’m anxiously awaiting this movie as well. I will try to keep it in the same frame of mind as the LotR movies…that is, I will try not to judge the movie based on how closely it mirrors the books. But the trailer looked pretty cool, in my opinion.
