House Rules

Hi laurence

Firstly thanks for the input - invaluable as always.

Hidden Costs
Re-prints of turns cost 2.00. Of course, if the reprint is due to an

error

on our part, this charge is waived.
If your account is low funds - that is to say, in negative - then there is
an administration charge of 1. for the first turn, and .50 for turns

after

that whilst you remain low funds.

You should perhaps repeat here the principle that if the account goes
into low funds due to your error then no charge applies - you have twice
let my account go into low funds by not charging my credit card enough.
I suspect that this problem occurs in a 31 day calendar month, when a
game gets processed 3 times in the month.

Probably self evident but I'll add something like that. We generally ask
players to keep more than enough in their account just in case - the normal
quantity of turns per month is 2 and a bit so sometimes this can carry on -
and then extra charges etc build up and it all spirals. If this does happen
please get in touch

If for any reason you need to phone in your turn to us, this is possible,
but will cost an extra 2.

This strikes me as harsh and excessive. Surely most people only phone
in their orders in the case of a catastrophe, like computer failure.

Not the case unfortunately although phone ins are rare they take up a lot of
time, and cause many errors to occur. Most of the time players phone in
their orders is due to apathy - leaving their turn too late. We don't want
to have this happen as it has other knock-on effects such as players ending
up dropping out due to leaving turns late, etc. The charge is minimal
compared with the amount of time and effort it takes (half an hour plus on
the phone sometimes).

I hope that helps put things in perspective though - thanks. Much
appreciated again.
