The problem is that anyone, member or no, can send a message to
everyone in the group just by sending an email to mepbmlist@yahoo.com. Taking the group's listing out of the
directory would stop most new spammers from getting the address, but
the ones who already have us on their list are going to be
essentially impossible to stop.
I agree that the message about stopping the spam by unsubscribing
from the group is particularly vile.
deleting them wont help, so the only way i see is for the

thought that this was the case, and the sender most likely just
joined long enough to send spam. Can you monitor new members e-mails
for a period of time, and remove someone from the group if they are
spamming the group? I'd be happy to let you (the owner/moderator)
decide what was spam based on your observations or complaints from
the other members.

RD: Me too. I know spam is irritating, but you've only got to hit the
delete button. It's not exactly time-consuming, whereas if Harle vet every
message that is going to cost them a LOT of time, and ultimately we players
will pay the price one way or the other.
