hi,
Has anyone ever used this order? What does it give you anyways? The
rulebook says you get info on Character. Does all it do is give you
his stats (a complete waste of time then)?
Thanks

I use this order 1-5 times a game, it is a safe 1-5 skill upper for
an agent who may be at a spot where he either has nothing better to
do or is at risk of getting hurt (while already injured).
You can get Rank of CHAR by title, nation of CHAR, CAP location, and
SNAs. (this may not be ALL you get, but this is what I typically see)

Not totally useless. If you want to know whether your captive's
nation is out, it's as good as Uncover Secrets but gives a skill
bonus. In 4th age it can be useful to know what nation sent the agent
that your guard just captured. It's also completely risk-free. A
guard might be hurt or killed, but an interrogator will not be.

It works pretty much like "Perceive Secrets" -- you can get useful
information like capital location and whether or not the nation is
still in the game.
It's also a very nice training order (since you get 1-10 skill instead
of 1-5 for guarding).

635 Interr is +1-5 skill up, not 1-10.
And remember, if you land on an empty hex for any reason, you could
guard other CHAR travelling with you or Interr, but no GRD LOC. And
if you are solo running around with a hostage(s)...you can always
skill up and move at no risk...as long as the hex is clear of enemy
CHARs that is.
I agree with what was said, it is a "better" order in a FA game as it
provides missing information and clues that are helpful.

Ok thanks all.
If indeed it can gie info like capital etc. maybe worth it especially
since as someone pointed out it's a 1-10 bonus unstead of 1-5.

Here is an example interrogation report (names and places were
changed to protect the innocent):
He was ordered to interrogate a hostage. Interagatee was
successfully interrogated. Interrogation report - Burglar
Interagatee - Random 4th Age Nation. He revealed that the capital of
the Random 4th Age Nation is at 2227. He revealed that the nation of
the Random 4th Age Nation seeks to hold the population center of
Pelagir at 2927 - seeks to terminate 10 characters by personal
challenge or by assassination. He revealed that the nation of the
Random 4th Age Nation possesses Special Nation Ability #24. Nothing
else revealed at this time.

Greetings, everybody!
I was thinking about something: Can I kidnap a dragon in 1650?
If I can kidnap a dragon, I can interrogate this hostage, right? What does
the dragon answer if I interrogate it (if it's a hostage o' mine)?
Thanks in advance,

Agent: Tell me where all of your treasure is!
Dragon: How do you like being barbequed?
Agent: Barbeque? What's barbeque? That doesn't
answer my question! Answer the question!
Dragon: This is barbeque. Firey breath sees agent
turn into a pile of ash.
Dragon: Darn it, over cooked another one!
