Do any of you think that is possible that plan to win the game in 10
turns of so (assuming everybody cooperates)? In 1650 games, giving to
urzahil 6x30 mage artifacts the darkservants own and doing a 250
monster mage that could find the ring , pick it up and maybe dropping
it in 10 turns. Would it be possible?
And my other question (specially for Harlequin Games): Which is the
fastest ring victory achieved so far? (or the fastest turn the ring
has been picked up in a game, specially a 1650 game)
I think it unlikely that you'll get a definitive answer because:
- People regularly writing here confess to limited experience of picking up
the ring
- Those that have picked it up rarely pretend to suggest that they fully
understand the complexity of how the pick ups and drops work.
Speculative opinion often states that the ring becomes easier to pick up as
the game goes on - not because anyone has ever been able to collect data to
test that, but because it seems like a logical thing for the programmers to
work in. The converse would then be true - that it's very hard to pick up
the ring in the early game. It's what most people imagine they would have
written in if they were making the program, because it would become a
fairly naff game if anyone discovered how to do what you propose. If it
were easy, or even moderately straightforward to pick up the ring, and end
the game in the first 10 turns, and if the technique for doing so got out,
it would soon make playing the game fairly pointless.
