January FtF in Cardiff?

Northwest is having an airfare sale for the next 4 days for travel to
England. Are there any details on this yet that I could use to lock
in some low cost travel?

There are nations to burn, people to meet, and beers to drink. Can
never start planning too early for such an event...

How about a FtF in the NorthEast US, I know there are enough interested people here.

I've heard this before. Tried to organise a FTF in the US twice before and they've fallen through. I would need numbers.

FTF for the UK is provisionally March - we might move it forward to February but January won't work I think.

Clint,

What are the details?

How much time does a FtF take, what are the best accomodations to
host it, what is the magic number you are looking for?

Nooooooooooooo here we go again. You can tell I am enthused uh?

Accomodation - Free (Copenhagen and UK don't cost anything unless you want to live it up and sleep in a bed and shower occasionally).
I need around 18 players really in ONE location. Needs a place for food and two rooms for the teams plus one for processing turns. In the UK we got it down to 15 minutes processing and start of printing, 1 hour for players.

Clint

Clint,

Cost to players?

If someone provides the location, snacks, shower, etc. can they
charge a cover charge?

Cost to players?

Don't know - 2 GMs needed - $1200 for flight et al (could be combined with a Stu return home trip to reduce). 20 turns at say $5 a turn x20 players = $160 per player for the w/end? Travel costs for said player would be around $200-300 I would estimate.

If someone provides the location, snacks, shower, etc. can they
charge a cover charge?

Sure
