JOverseer

Why haven’t more players downloaded this software? Load all your allegiance files into your game and you see everything. Draw your orders so your armies/navies dont’ go in the wrong direction, upload your orders automatically. Drag and drop hexes, characters, artifacts into your orders, import you’re allies orders and reconcile their movements, complete economic calculators, etc. Talk about the best way to look at the game and produce orders to play the game. Really folks, when stuff like this is available, you simply have to start taking responsibility for what you’re not doing as well as trying to take credit for what you are doing…!

Yep I agree, it is very, very good. And don’t worry if you’re one of those people who find it difficult to navigate your way around new programs, since it is a very intuitive program to use.

I came back after 14 years and chose JOverseer, I can only say that it’s very very easy to use

I recommend JOverseer

I have tried on numerous occasion to get these files to work on my own and I can’t – hell finally got Palintir and that was only when Bradford came over to my house and installed it for me !!

I agree JDOverseer is great.

There are a couple of things that I cant get to work / dont find q as good as on MEassist or Automagic but overall its the best. If the developer is looking:

  • combat calculator doesnt work for me - MEAssist can import the army & pop centre from any hex and then let you edit that to predict battle outcome. JDOverseer looks like it could do the same but it doesnt quite work

  • send by email doesnt seem to work for me though it reports that it does

  • order checking could be a bit simpler. All I really want to see is a list of exceptions / potential errors. (??)

Great stuff though…

Yes I’ve found the combat calculator isn’t quite up to the mark too. Still, it’s a minor complaint.

Yeah, combat calculator is one of my only complaints.

When I load a PC, I can’t remove it afterwards :frowning:
