Kin Strife Map

I have got the understanding that the Kin Strife-map is difrent from the map in other modules. Can I see this map please?

Download the Kinstrife module here on the site and check in the appendix at the far back of it.

There are quite a few changes around the passes in western Mordor and around the Sea of Rhun, amongst others.

Your best bet would be to take a look at it in JOverseer. Just tell it to set up a new KS with whatever game number. But note that a lot will change from the default you see in JO and how any given game starts out, due to particular nation setup choices.

Thank you both.

I finaly found it at the end of the PDF-file. I should have found it without having to ask, but when I didnt found it at the begining I thought it wasnt there.

To look at it in Joverseer I would need some authentic XML-files which I of course dont have.

No, if I recall correctly, you don’t need any XMLs. Just set up JO as if you were in a new KS game plugging any number for the game number, and it will return the default popcenters on the proper KS map…the geography of which is, as Bearlord above alludes to, quite different in several key aspects.

I did. Cool!
It has PCs and armies, but no characters.

I’m currently in two different KS games and they are quite different in regard of where main PCs are located, their size and level of fortifications. Armies usually start at the default place, but there might be some changes possible there as well.

I like the fog of war that each of these games come with. It’s somewhere between the regular 1650/2950 games where most everything is known at start and the Fourth age games where almost everything is unknown except for the Kingdoms.

I like the fog of war too and I lowe to design my own nation. I use to play 4. age. Now I will play a KS for a change to see how it is. (When it starts. That could take some time…)
