RD: Thanks Mike. I could not possibly see Sauron
die in such an
anti-climactic fashion!
didn't he lose his body since he couldn't do the dog
paddle ???
And Tolkien had a lot of elves/humans die in
anti-climatic fashion, its about time the tables got
turned.
thanks

ps I would also prefer a first age game, but alas the
map is not the same. Morgorth was be in the north
(with a lot of m/t to send out huge numbers of
troops), the elves would be set up around the place
and be free.
I would have a few dwarf and human neutral nations.
Some humans went dark, some went free. Some dwarves
went free, and the last main battle of the first age
imply that the dwarves were not ALL on the good side.
I'm not sure if that means they were dark, or they
just didn't fight.
Their was a Civ 2 (?) scenario that had a nice first
age battle. I would pinch the general location and
names from this scenario if anyone wanted to do it.
The main problem I can see is trying to make 10 DS
nations. I would have one (experienced) player running
the DS, 10 free players (the elves), and 5 neutral
nations (humans and dwarves). That means less money
for Clint.

Any maps of this around? I know that when I played Warhammer they started
putting extra bits on the maps which was very nice.
which civ 2 senario was that? I'd like to check it out.
