Last Alliance

Sounds fine - we'll go for one nation to start with though and see how the
demand goes. Richard can you send to the DGE message board as well?

Hi Clint and all,

The LA variant has (intentionally!) a few HUGE positions, several medium
ones but mostly small ones.

As the neutrals are pre-aligned, I suggest to Clint that players wanting to
play this game pick an allegiance (or say they are happy to play either)
rather than a nation. Any player can say, I don't want nation xyz.

When Clint's got sufficient numbers, he allocates nations at random.
Within
each team, players can then swap nations by mutual consent if they wish.

Players should be allowed to play 2 nations if this necessary to get the
game off the ground, or to replace dropouts. If it is necessary to do this
to start the game, obviously any player playing 2 nations should have 2 of
the modest ones; it would be unfair if one guy got both North and South
Kingdoms for example!

Regards,

Richard.<
