Weird as it seems, though, turns still aren't getting
through. I had to re-submit my turn for 318 yesterday
and appreciate that Clint is trying to ensure that
things are right during the transition (which they
haven't been).
I would like clarification on the deadline; with DGE
it seemed to be 8am EST on the due date. Is it the
same or are we at 8am GMT on the due date?
OK, the autoresponse is sent when Clint or Stuart
opens the email
as for G318? my pity level for late turns in that
game is now nil.
We are in a one week game and everyone should have
been on board
after the last turn was run

Actually, the "deadline" is 10am GMT on the day _after_ the due date -
that's when they do their "final check" of email (and I suppose faxes,
possibly even voicemail tho' I doubt it ...) for submissions, then input
the data and run the turns. This equates into roughly 5am et the day
_after_ the "Return Before" date that's printed on the turn, in the
back, at the front of the order-submission part.
Hope that's clear.

Should have been. There is occasionally some delay - and I might have sent
out a "your turn is late" message when it was actually on it way. Too much
work to do this all the time though.

Read the House rules. 10 am after Due date for process, day before for
turns in please. I realise that players cannot always do this but it does
help - escpecially if things have gone wrong with your turn (errors in
orders that sort of thing).
