Reviewing the encounter info on Bobbins’ site, this dragon seems to like to eat dwarves.
I have a dwarf facing said wyrm. Does anyone have any advise on the “best” response?
Personally I don’t think there are nation specific responses/reactions in the game. So you’re SOL, ignore/flee and hope to live I would say.
Leacaruth eats anyone thats meet her… Or at least thats my experience… 6 Meetings 4 dead DS and 2 dead FP. None of the Free were Dwarves. But then again I meet Giant Spiders that seem to have a 100% kill rate too. When it says you should get away.
But then I never did have much luck

I don’t think I’ve ever heard of anyone surviving a Leucaruth encounter.
You can survive. This is from a recent game:
Encounter for Cykur at 2205
“I follow the path of Darkness!” The cry rang out in the confines of the cave as he waited anxiously for the Dragon’s response. With a great hissing breath, the Dragon looked down and whispered, “The path you follow is the same as the one I follow. How fortunate to meet one another just at dinnertime…!” Leucaruth looked angrily down at the warrior before her. She’d been hunting this one for two days and he thinks he’s found ME, she thought. She watched as the warrior launched an all out attack against what he believed to be the Dragon’s weakest points. Suddenly, a fiery breath hit the warrior with stunning force. Giant talons spun him around and the whipping tail struck him again and again. Leucaruth laughed as her opponent fell to the ground gasping for breath and writhing in pain. "So fall all of my enemies, " she whispered and flaminglances of fire pierced the warrior’s body. As her enemy fell, Leucaruth turned with satisfaction and left the scene. It was only some hours later that the warrior regained consciousness and, although gravely wounded, he was able to flee the scene.
Cykur lived with one health.

@ Scavenger - you can survive (I once survived Leucaruth with a DS char and 25 health after acting meek), but thats just a random effect of combat. There is always a slim chance to survive when fighting a dragon. But there seems to be no known answer to avoid combat with that scaled lady…
