In one of my seven games I have an enounter with this beast. The only known answer that I can find on the web for him is to give him an artifact. Unfortunately, the character doesn’t have an artifact. This poses two questions, since most of the other responses result in injury/death.

  1. Can I offer him an artifact anyway, which he can take from another character?
  2. Has anyone had any success with the “Haughty” response?

(2) Haughty = flamed to death for me. Acted Meek another time, wounded but alive.
