question. How come I can't see who is on the middle earth
mailing list ?
I suppose thats good of him, but I wonder how he did it ?
Hi,
Sam here,
I'm in charge of the mailing lists. I didn't intentionally
hide the members,
but I'm not sure that I should make the list public.
I would keep the list private. I was just curious in knowing how it was
done.
A few things upset me with playing PBM games by the net.
a) getting junk mail when i want my lastest turn (and no, I do not want to
go to uni in the USA)
b) getting almost junk mail about a PBM game which was cc to several dozen
of people. If so many people are getting it, I wish they would make it
private (that what the Bcc is for).
c) getting 4700 HI to pelegair in G34, only to see 6200 HI waiting for me.
Does the free know how disappointed that made me ?
I vote we keep the members secret.
I also suggest people remember to use bcc when they do mailing lists
and my last suggestion is that the free in g34 stop making so many troops.
thanks
m

Does anyone have any views?
(Of course some lurkers may wish to have their address kept
private, and
will not comment on this... because they are lurkers - so I'll
bear that in
mind)Sam
