Map 1650 (mostly 1650 vs 2950)

I gave a new player some options
a) 1650 - go to war on turn 1 with lots of money and
armies, but the other nations are going to war on turn
1
b) 2950 - its like fighting with a broken arm. It can
be done, but requires more skill than brute force.
c) 1000 - make you own nation, and run for cover as
soon as the starting gun goes off.

he picked 1000. Then he spent all his money on dual
characters (someone told it they were great), and
ended up broke.

Now, shoot me down in flames!

FA I like because of the way that all the nations (Kingdoms excluded) are
equally powerful so it is about team-work and skill in playing that way.
Shame about the lack of cursing but artefacts are still very important I
have found.

I would never advise a newbie to start in 1000 - too much to learn. 1650 or
2950 (if the player is more upto it).
