And GMs could play under an alias and never even tell anyone. Ours are upfront and above board with everything they have done.

Ultimately, you just have to take this sort of thing on trust, don't
you? A malicious GM team could find lots of ways to cheat without
their opponents ever suspecting. But, seriously, what fun would that
be for them?
