Market Buy/Sell Question

ME Legends,

I have had an ongoing debate with several individuals for awhile and
I need a clarification on the timing for market buy/sells.

Here is the example:

10,000 Leather is on the market

The Freep decide to buy out the market and write orders to buy 10k
worth. If a DS sells 1k, there would still be 1k on the market at
the end of the turn.

If the Freep had wrote orders to purchase 11k, would the market be
empty at turn end or still have 1k leather?

In other words, are orders 310, 315, 320, & 325 simultaneous or
sequential?

Any clarification on this issue would be greatly appreciated!

The orders are sequential. All purchases come before
sells. In your example, there would be 1K of leather
available. You can't buy more than what the market
has to offer at the time so no, trying to buy 'extra'
over and above what's availble won't work.

I'm not so sure ... In a game lately the FP (my team)
sold a metal when DS bought it out and the supply
ended up with zero. I have heard that even though 315
and 320 are sequential ... market orders are all
processed at once. For if this sale happened after
the buys ... why would i be zero?

There is some random fluctuation in the stocks of products
independent of buys and sells. If the FP sale was small it might have
been offset by the program's reduction of the stock of that metal
that turn. If the sale was large it raises a big question.
