ME 3 nation triplets 1650

Some more thoughts from players (we're 5/8 filled). Any body disagree or have better comboes?

4-5-8
Agree with the very strong military combo. Counters the 11-14-24 combo nicely. I don't like Arth or Card.

1-2-9
I think the Woodmen & the Northmen would mesh well together. The Sinda adds another strong nation in Mirkwood. I think this is a very good combo. The LR is going to be distracted by helping out in the SW. The Dog will be desperately defending against a combined/coordinated NG-Eo. I can see this combo doing some interesting things.Â

3-6-10
Another very powerful combo with the EO coordinating with NG - ouch. The DS really need to be on top of their game to repulse the NG-Eo combo. The Noldo is a good nation to group with this combo. The Noldo won't be able to assist NG-Eo for some time - which is good as those two nations have a very significant starting military.

7-22-23
Another good combo. Counters the QA-Corsair coordination nicely. The Dun is a wildcard and will not be significant in theater for a while. Slight advantage to 17-19-21 just because the LR has an army in theater.

... I would have to really consider switching to the light side in that game.

11-14-24
Great combination of DS. The WK & Rhudaur are a natural combination and give maximum coordination to the player in the NW. The CL position gives this combo agent power and if the game goes long it spells bad news for nations opposing this combo. The challenge will be repulsing the coordinated attacks of 4-5-8 group. Playing the WK in any game is challenging though. The biggest challenge for this combo is surviving to the end of the game.Â

17-19-21
Another natural combo with Corsair & QA. Allows for maximum attack coordination against the Harad. This is a very strong combination (I am currently playing 17 & 21 and Doug is playing 19 in game 50). This is a very strong combo and great for the individual who gets it. The LR can project agents into the theater quickly - with devastating results against the FP.

13-18-20
Another strong combo for the defense of Mordor. DL at the North gate and FK at the western pass. Allows for good coordination with the Dark Lts able to project force where needed. This is the most important combo among the DS. This combo is tasked with defending Mordor. A lot of really good artifacts in this combo as well. The artifacts (once distributed) can make a major difference.

12-15-16
This is the least strong combo and will be a challenge. The Dragon Lord is going to be hit early and a competent FP will target the Dragon Lord for early termination knowing that MTs are at a premium with this combo. However, this combo has a tremendous set of artifacts and mages. The primary goal of this combo is stay alive as this combo can become the strongest by middle to late game.Â
