Not looking good for the freeps, I’d say. Your commanders are falling from brave challenges, strange spells and assassins blades like wheat from a scythe.
Arthedain, I guess you’re still at the helm. Too bad about Bondan running into my pop and armies. Almost like I suspected it… . I guess i’ll see how his wounds are doing after all. Maybe another surprise challenge is in order. Wonder how Argeleb is doing…
I guess the Free lads area little shell-shocked and don't want to come out and play. Except for that pain-in-the-Nazgul Northie
army and an interesting South Gondor gambit, I really can’t blame them.
C’mon, siege me again ! I love the bodies and commanders piling up around the Blackgate, a little more sun and flies and my
orc riders will enjoy…
OK. back in the States now. Looks like I have discovered what a “shadow” turn is. I’m pretty hot about Ji Indur capturing the ONLY Arthedain agent. I’m mad and I’m coming after you, Mr. Witch King.
No need to come after me now, Arthedain. It appears your dwarven friends have showed up to finish me off. We’ll see how well they fare at Gundabad. I suspect that he’ll find his path similar to poor Aegelwine, meandering outside of Gram’s gates while a cunning blade ended his foolish expedition. Or perhaps it is dear Argeleb who will join his countrymen in the great beyond. None can say for sure.
Bondan’s army was destroyed quite nicely. I must admit that THAT move had none of the hallmarks of your usual fine performance.
Just when you think you’re safe. WACK! Arthedain, you tell your elven allies that Elrond is just the first of their characters to be slain horribly. And he was guarded, too. Gee… i wonder how strong that agent is? Where is he now? Did I already ask how Argeleb is doing?
When will your free allies in the south learn? Mordor is just a meat grinder for your characters… after this new raid is completed, SG will just be several characters and 3000 HC weaker and the pops you destroyed will be rebuilt. But at least our mage, challenge, and agent ranks will increase! Good plan.
Yes, you gave the Noldo and Arthedain a couple of heavy blows. But, while you were watching the front door the Dwarves eased in the back door. Actually, they are so short, they limboed under the back door.
Please install spike traps under all doors for now on.
Silly dwarves… 16000 gold per turn so they can thump around in the great white north. Now the big question is… did I (or the CL) send an agent to Gundabad after the dwarves used their 4000 troops to attack a Dragon Lord camp? Hmmm, they did show up on Gundabad’s map the same turn.
I wonder if Threlin stands a chance… I mean, he may be better defended then Elrond. I guess its time to off the dwarves now.
