I think Big Ed's shell game worked just fine, thank you. I see lots of Free icons spinning their wheels in Mirkwood, while a Sinda city has been, shall we say, compromised :) Hey, those stunties are having fun at Goblin Gate - I can't let the ones lost in the forest join in , sorry !
Not too shabby, though I hope you can come up with the cash to keep paying those troops. Send Hoarmurath kisses for me, his army has to be putting a dent in the treasury, too.
Rhudaur should have lured us into a false sense of security–as it was we were more nervous than the proverbial long-tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs. No big surprise there.
The big question for us is–with Ice Man on the plains, who will help the Fire King?
First, I can’t say I’m overly worried about my treasury, even with you all burning camps and trying to threaten 3123. I don’t really expect that army to be around all that long regardless of what I choose to do with it. (I will say that Noldo characters on my population centers this early is annoying). Yeah, yeah, I know… the Ice King typically goes south. I decided to try something different for a change. As I see it, its just a question of which front that I bog down. If I’d go south, I (oh-so-temporarily) bog down the initial vanguard of the Gondors, and the Eothraim get to run riot. If I go north, I bog down the initial vanguard of the Eothraim and the Gondors get to run riot. Does it really make a difference which area is vulnerable? Each set of moves creates opportunities and strengthens or weakens the other. (Unless I just sit there and guard my own centers, which is the worst of both).
The economic pounding you’re all giving me is annoying, but there’s nothing I can do about it unless I’m prepared to sit back and defend… which opens up both fronts to attack. The Ice King cannot really defend 3125, 3022, 3126 or even 3123 if the Gondors truly put their minds to wiping those camps and population centers out, which you have chosen to do. That’s just reality. I knew the risks when I planned my opening strategy… current events would not have changed much regardless. Happily I did NOT hire a recruiting army at 3123 (the real reason you went there was to wipe it out and cost me 5000 gold). Yeah yeah, you get to thump me for awhile. I’ll get even in ten turn or so, assuming I survive!
That's a classic statement of disinformation if I ever did see one - the Freep can't defend everywhere when I have so much to start with ! Yep, those old poorly trained, motley collection of orc types I start with had all those Sinda archers, Woodmen and Dwarf HI shaking in their boots, eh ?
Being a pansy elf, all those big, noisy orcs are vewy scawy.
What else do you expect from us pointed ear pretties, Hoarmurath? See the above quote, of course we are kicking you while your down. Kicking people while they are up is just too scawy for us pansies.
Greetings Big Velvetta,
You take a city you can’t hold and we take a MT we can hold. Enjoy your false hope as you revel in your short lived glory. The Ds cav was butchered in the plains. A eoth. running amuck is a scary thought. Although the Drg. l. is of little consequence none of the other nazgirls are feeling frisky, so we will smack talk you even with your little relevence to the eventual outcome. The free will destroy the pig pens you call home, slowly methodicaly. The nutcracker continues on as planned. Hide your nuts as they are in peril. :>)
The Nm await the onslaught approaching and plans have been made. Bring your worst.

Hey Whitchypoo, stop looking in your Thesaurus for pop centre names. I’ll be rebuilding the place as it’s a bit spiney in it’s current form, Amon Sul will be rebuilt to it’s former splendor.
