We all make human errors. There are strategies/tactics/techniques, in this game, that can and do exploit human errors on the part of the opposition. When Harley intervenes to reduce human errors, be it directly through the 'machinery of god' or indirectly via Automagic and Palantir those techniques are diminished. Do I think Harley intervenes to much now? Yes.
This is a simulation. It simulates how an individual proceedss through a complex and subtle world with inadequate information while being forced to make moral choices. This game is truly a test of the player. It is the player's responsibility to think, check, proof, etc. If he does not then bad things happen. People make the same mistkes in this game that they make in the Real World. Be grateful for the opportunity to make yourself a better planner and executor of plans without actually killing someone or costing your corporation a million dollars.

However, I do feel that the players also have some responsibility to check
and we have made it a pre-requisite of the game. In an ideal world the
program would be able to handle this, we'd make no errors, and even if we
did players would notice immediately and get back to us so that we could
fix it. It's not an ideal world unfortunately. What I am thinking of doing is in future making it so that if an edit such
as this does occur then we'll do the fix as if the relations were
correct. An additional service to the players. Thoughts on that and other
issues raised?Clint
