I just had a pop centre change hands from a very high loyalty and with no
nation messages indicating it was influenced away; just the "no longer under
our control" message. I've never seen this before. The best an emmy can do
is 15 points. It would have needed at least four successes at 15 points each
for its loyalty to fall to the 10 to 15 range. Is it really possible for
four or more very stealthy emmies to work like that, or have I been subject
to a bug/cockup?

Gavin

Exceptional, but not impossible. I once had enough low-ranking emmys to flip a
pc in one shot, similar loyalties, and it was like 10+ emmys, in my pc, that
didn't show up on the pc report. Opponents confirmed this later (and I have no
reason to doubt their veracity ... well, not _much_ reason). Bad roll? Best I
can say ... (get those payments in on time, perhaps w/ a little "juice" for "the
boys" ... JK

I agree with the stealthy emmies, not sure if emmies without stealth
always give a message when they influence? I don't think so.

Of course, it could have been an army that moved evasively on you and
threatened the pop back.

cheers,
Stags.

Eh? Are you telling me that an army can turn up at a pop centre and
effectively not be noticed?

Gavin

As far as I know, if you move evasively the pop report will not show
an army there, not sure if this is automatic though i.e. if there is a
roll for sucessfully moving evasively. If you get a map, you will see
an icon though but not a report.

if you ask me, this sounds like one of those areas that get "tinkered"
with by the programmers, maybe things worked differently down under?

easy to confirm though, hey Pete (Arth in game 34), did you see armies
move on 1905, 2005 when I took them back recently? They would have
been off your map with no free recons and I moved evasively on them
with a super comm (if anyone was going to suceed moving evasively,
this bloke would be a prime candidate, luv those WK arties

cheers.
