When there is enough of a desire for such - how many players are there out
there that want to play a 1650 game? Before DGE we had a lot of trouble
getting one (game 53 now on turn 24 ish) together only getting one by
allowing players to play 2 nations each.

As per normal if there is a player base we'll support it. However too many
options mean that games are not filled. For example right now I have 4 2950
games filling:

1 Grudge Game
1 1 wk game
2 2950 games

All except one have 4 players missing - so that's around 2 months without a
game going out on this.

Back to 1650 though and I think we can support around 2 games of 1 wk 1650
per year at present - so we have that many games and only one other player
(now changed to a different game) intersted. But should you show there is
player support then I can start a waiting list - but my guess is that it
would be around 6 months to fill. (We have 3 3wk 1650 players waiting at
present).

Clint

Hi Clint

When will you be starting 1wk 1650 games ?

Ulrik Bisgaard

Playing in the US showed that there was no problem in getting these
games going. It was just us Europeans that couldn't handle the
pressure in these fast-paced games, and therefore didn't sign up in
them. With the US player base transferred to you, there should be no
problems in getting some started.
So please, start'em up.. I'll be the first to sign on.

Hi to Clint and all the players that are Intrested in weekly games.

I also do not think that it would last long to fill a weekly 1650 game.
In Germany it was also no prob to get a game going......

I think everybody who is Intrested in those should make a short statement on
this list....

I allready told Clint that when a weekly game will start, I will play in it

Good points from both of you. There is _definitely_ a strong American base
(plus Ulrik! - btw, nice to see you Ulrik  that has always prefered 1-week
games. If the base of players truly has transfered, there should be no problems
getting one-weekers going (in both scenarios, altho' for some reason w/ GSI/DGE,
it seemed there was more interest in 2950 one-week "normal" - i.e. non-grudge -
games than 1650 one-week non-grudgers ... never could figure that out). I would
(in theory) be among that group, however I'm in too-many (f'ing 2-week) games
right now to start another ... Notwithstanding that, in the long term I'd be
among those counted in the "definitely will" category (assuming my GWCs are
still good ... JUST KIDDING!).

b

ps Actually, I'm trying to stick to a strict "grudge-game-only policy" which
would also preclude participation in "normal" one-weekers ... but I have a
feeling I'll probably cave on this as soon as my game-load allows.

pps Anyone with a grudge team (or looking to put one together ...), I have a
team that will _only_ play a one-week 2950 game (we're flexible on allegiance,
tho' ... and while we're only 10 atm, we could be 12 if the other side prefered
...). Taking all comers! Don't be shy.

Okay please send me a list of nations that you want (not here!). Note at
present there are 2 1650 1wk games with all the players who are normally in
that style of game playing so I would see what develops. As b4 if only a
limited pool of players then I would ask for players to play two nations
possibly.

Nothing more easy than this, but didnt I already do it?

1 Noldo
2 Dark Lieutenant
3 Corsairs
4 Rhudaur
5 Dunlendings

Enough?

Hya Guys

Who of you made expiriences with Agent orders (kidnap/Assasinate) in hidden
Pop Centres?

I think it is very hard to kill Charakters in such a Hex.... (or I simply do
not have enough luck)

But I tried it two times with a 96Agent with something about 50 Stealth to
kill a Character in Tol Burut (50 Kom with no guards) both times I wasnt
able to perform my mission and even wounded to 26Health the second try.....

Friend of mine Lost 3 Agents in one turn in a Sindar Pop Centre....

Greetings

Stefan

You may have been doubled.

Maybe, although hidden, the fortifications still work against agents ?
