me Split Army 765 query

Richard --

765 orders, like many others, are indeed handled sequentially after being
randomized. You cannot have two different army commanders 765 to the same
target guy, because as soon as the first 765 order is processed, from whichever
of your army commanders managed to go first, the guy becomes an army commander.

However, what you can do is have one army commander 355 (transfer troops) to
the other army commander, who then splits. Order sequence will tell the
tale -- for example:

355: Ben transfers 900 troops to Bill. Ben now has 100 and Bill has 1900,
they both have whatever food they started with, and at that point, they eat
food. An MT at that location can actually feed 2500 troops so at that MT no
food would be taken out of the baggage train, it can feed everyone itself,
unless you have a chunk of cavalry involved...I am assuming HI.

408: Bill recruits 400 troops. He now has 2300 troops, and whatever food
he started with. Ben still has 100 troops plus whatever food he started with.

765: Bill splits as many troops as he wants to Little Weed, with his second
order. Now of course he'll want to split at least 100, and no more than
2200, so that everyone ends up with an army and nobody accidentally disbands. I
have seen players mess up HC recruitment due to a lack of leather or mounts
and then "split" their entire army to someone else, disbanding their army and
losing war machines in the process because only food gets split off out of
the baggage train...so make sure your recruiting order is gonna work if you
want to split more than 1800 troops. But if you are certain it will work, then
Bill could split off 2200 troops and keep 100.

850: Ben moves his army out to his first camp-posting hex with his second
order. Little Weed moves his army out towards the enemy, I presume, with the
only order he has issued so far. He could then do a recon area, or maybe he
used an order early in the turn to buy some metal for the new recruits, or
leather or mounts to make HC possible, or whatever.

I have a question about the 765 rule. You cannot transfer troops to an
army commander. So what happens if I try to 765 from two different armies to a
spare commander? Are 765 orders processed simultaneously (in which case it
should work) or sequentially (in which case, presumably only one split will
work)?

Eg I have 2 armies under Bill (1000 troops) and Ben (1000 troops) at hex
1234 where I have a MT. I also have a spare com there, Little Weed. I want
Bill to stay and recruit, and Little Weed to go and fight, so I split 900 troops
to Little Weed. I want Ben to go posting camps, so again, I split 900
troops to Little Weed.

Will this work? Ie does LW end up with 1800 troops or only 900?
