Please do not change the way victories are determined. Yes, players
do have to operate as a team to win, but each nation does have to
live in the world AFTER the war is over. And each nation does want
to be on top after the war. Can you imagine the Nazgul all being
lovey dovey after they crush the Free?
Some of the most interesting end games (after turn 25 or so)have been
when parts of one team decide they wish to win more than others.
After all, 10 nations chasing 2 or 3 can get boring.
One idea that could be looked at would be to revamp the random
victory conditions to be more nation specific, or to force that
nation to expose itself more to win. Making the Noldo kill 10 is an
interesting concept. The standard "acquire 10 additional artifacts"
is a joke for the Noldo to accomplish.
My thoughts, I'm sure others can do better.
