I must say I’m impressed by the commitment of the Free Peoples to waste so many starting characters in order to create a lethal weakness squad. Not to say it won’t be a hassle to us, as it most certainly will. Still, the investment seems hardly worth it.
As to your chosen target, it seems strange that you would choose to kill off a weak mage (who couldn’t seriously hurt you in return), and not go after the very good agent, (who can most certainly hurt you in return). It is obviously your decision, though not a good one, I think.
Still, you have caused me some grief, for which you undoubtedly will take some pleasure. Unfortunately it is not nearly enough to save the South Kingdom major towns of Pelargir and Osgiliath, both of which will fall to unopposed Dark Servant armies this turn.
It’s too bad the South Kingdom was duped into becoming a punching bag for the DS, just so the devious FP could spend a few precious turns hiding behind him while his nation is torn limb from limb. And where is all the help the FP have promised him? Strangely absent… except for one piddling weakness squad.
I feel for the people of the once proud South Kingdom, and the suffering which will now be inflicted upon them. However, having chosen to become an enemy of the Dark Servants, they must be dealt with before we can continue on with our work of cleansing Middle-earth of the hated elves and their little minions.
It’s a pity, really. We had so hoped to dine on elf-flesh by this month. Ah well. Perhaps next month, then?
You are all doing exactly as I planned. You have assassinated and kidnaped the commanders I did not need and now you are taking extra Mtowns that only make my pockets fat with gold. In just 2 weeks my rat trap will be sprung and you all will feel the teath of SK.
True, though HALF of the characters you killed are soley due to the fact that out of 10 or 11 high level mages, NONE ever seem to show up on Pop Center reports, even in high loyalty PCs… A bit strange, that.
As for SK… Yes. We will see how it all goes. I’m especially looking forward to watching the mighty fortifications at Minas Tirith turn into a lowly tower this turn. And there’s literally nothing you can do to stop us.
Yes, your plan of letting us shred the SK in order to keep the DS armies off you while you kill two characters per turn, (possibly four if the unatural stealth of your mages holds up), should be quite interesting to watch. It will be even more interesting once we finish with your poor misguided ‘shield’ and start ripping your own nations to shreds… assuming you don’t find another neutral to serve as your happless lackey.
I just want to make it clear SK is no lap dog. We may have thought we were better then we are but the destruction of my lands and armies is my own doing. I picked the fight. I just got my ass kicked. Clint et. al. have just been nice enought to help me in my time of need.
Not to worry. I’m just giving Clint and ‘his gang’ a hard time. I haven’t played in a game with him (I don’t think), so this is my only opportunity to raz him a bit.
While we were disappointed by your early jump to the FP, (and even more by the NK’s apparent xenophobic isolationism), I’m still having a good time… in spite of losing two characters this turn.
Of course, being the ‘great South Kingdom’, we couldn’t afford to let you build yourself up too quickly, so we had to hit you hard. Messing with Clint about not being able to stop us (so far) is just icing on the cake.

We can come back and do you some more if you want… Maybe we know something you don’t … (best not go there!) Good fight down south so far ta for sticking with it.
Howdy allies and opponents in Game 43. Any chatter ? Barbs ?
Jabs ? Kudos ? Observations ?
We’re curious as to the inactivity of the SK army on our allies’
capital … guess we’ll see how it plays out … I know, I know, so
many enemies, so few DnStNats to go around
I gave the 225 order (get pissed and get in bar fights). I guess nothing showed up on spinners reprot. I got a really funny message about the exploits of my troops, a horse and some Tokelianten Bar Maid. The order was a little less effective than I hoped. I guess it take a C60 to have any effect on the pop center.
Tom, how is Mick doing? Is he into Middle Earth still? My last communication with him was several months ago when he dropped suddenly out of game 88. The FP won that one and I am sorry he didn’t stick around to see that.
Sinda 88
Mick has had a family emergency, a newborn with severe medical problems. Though he enjoys ME-PBM a great deal, he lacks the time to commit to it. Thanks for your concern.
