Hmm…only one kill. Was Celdrahil using any of those command artifcats? Hope you enjoy 2734…wonder how long it’ll last?
Oh yeah…what’s Elladan doing killing people with #4 & #175. Good for him he refused ehh…
Hope that bounce off of 2715 didn’t hurt too much. Umm…6 armies at 2715 now. Geez…you guys are getting testy.
Say…is anyone else tired of the Dog Lord yet.
CL Steve
Say…no one wants to rub our faces in the Freep economic power or, the southern front, or the northern front, or Mirkwood.
CL Steve feelin’ lonely
PS - I’m planning on several more agent misses this coming turn to brighten the Free Peoples summer. We Chicagoans are very giving like that.
PPS - I’m just avoiding work right now anyway.
I’ll reply to that. Your southern players stink! They built a castle just to have it threatened out with the Arthedain artifacts. Now SG is dug in like a tick smack dab between the QA and Harad. Oh, and since your southern players can’t get rid of a port to save their lives (literally), SG can land reinforcements at will.
Too bad I am one of the southern players. The only small consolation is that I told you that the Arthedain artifacts would end up doing exactly that threat a turn and a half ago. Doesn’t change the situation though…
QA Joe
The good news…the Arthedain artifacts won’t be threatening out a 2nd pop center.
Aaah… but the damage has been done… and now the balance of power has shifted…
Can you see the writing yet… it’s very faint, but growing brighter by the turn…
Mirkwood looks interesting… Rhudaur looks interesting… Harad/QAv looks interesting… Sea of Rhun looks interesting…
Small glitches to the plan around mordor… and that silly DoL army that I told you not to mention again!!!.. and the IcK suddenly feels brave enough to leave the mountains!! he’d better have some good support back home… that’s not an invitation we can ignore
Luck didn’t play a part in Elladan’s orders… he’s Noldo… not Cloud Lord
And it’s great to see DrL keeping an army in Rhudaur. Is that to make sure Rhudaur doesn’t change sides at the last minute? and join the FP???
WiK must really want 2004 badly… how will you fair this turn??? Let’s see if everyone enjoys all the surprises… Good to see Dragons have finally made an appearance… makes it more of a contest…

Balance of power shifted? You have a distorted sense of balance. The Corsair starts with 6 MT and a city. He can easily use 4 MT and the city against us, even without his ability to move 5750 troops by boat. SG has 2 MT, a city, and an infinite supply of towns to use against us, with the ability to move up to 6250 troops at a time. Realistically, SG is recruiting 1500 a turn easily using his corrifor of pain. We face this with 5 MT south of the river and realistically no boats. Unfortunately, the balance of power has not shifted down south. You guys have owned it the whole game and are educating us why the QA and Harad cannot stand up to the Corsairs and SG alone.
Of course, we have now recruited a bit of help from our more… secretive… allies. Celdrahil has already met my friend.
Sorry about the rant, but I wanted to make sure you northern mappers understand that it is ugly down here. And as for the writing, I see it all right. You guys are going down. From where I sit, you won’t do enough damage to knock us out before our characters rule ALL! HA HA HA HA!
(Yeah, I’m avoiding work too.)
QA Joe
Say…is now a good time to mention that we know about Scorba?
And let’s see…all those Woodmen failing to hit 2409…wonder where they went? Probably no where…good.
Hmmm…and those mounts and steel and timber disapearing off the market. That’s probably nothing to worry about. Yep. I doubt a few cavalry strike forces are being built. No sir.
Several surprises on the way.
You’ve got to admit…the Dwarven starting armies from Moria didn’t meet with their designed end
CL Steve
Now…if you managed to threaten the Ice King capital next turn…I’d be impressed.
I will threaten Durthang right now:
Durthang, you have seem what happened to the Harad capital. First it was abandoned by its own people, then it came to me.
The same is going to happen to you. Be afraid. Be very afraid. And when I get you, be loyal to South Gondor!
Cheers
Mike
I’m pretty sure the QA and Harad will pay you alot to pick up the SG froces and leave the Harad right about now
CL Steve
Forget paying you a lot. We will pay real money. How about two free turns?
So when can I expect my free turns to leave Rhudaur alone and carry on north to watch the WiK throw himself against another Dwarven army???
Must be a real pain when a plan gets scuppered due to those lovely local militia. You’ve got to love them - 100% loyal, short, stout and bearded… no wonder a thin pale faced clean shaven shadow hiding non Dwarf was spotted!!!
Dragons are like London buses… you don’t see any for ages, then they all turn up at once.
Now… where’s my manual of Dragon catching… cross reference the right response… make sure the army has a good Commander… send in the dispensible fall guy (but tell him he’s the best, most trusted and loyal servant) and hope those goddam answers haven’t been tampered by GSI again!!!
Fantastic…
What I really want to know is how the Doglord likes his new home up in the Iron Hills, and whether he has gone there 'cuz now that Dol Guldur is toast, he (rightly thinks) Morannon is next.
Perhaps you have realised that we only want to take out your MTs with Castles or Keeps on them. Thats why we passed on Goblin Gate, havent taken 1910, have revealed 4217 ready for invasion, waited before landing at 2734 etc etc. I tell you, Morannon is next ! (meaning next after Durthang
)
I am fine with that strategy. Just HIT the population centers please. None of this wussy threaten stuff. Bleeeeed…
What. All those troops at 2715 aren’t going to wander off into the woods. Wait…is that fair. Can they attack Morannon? I think we’ll need a judges ruling on that.
CL Steve
PS - Of course they will leave Durthang alone…as that’s reserved for the SG troops…now that my teammates are paying him off. So much for teamwork.
