What I want to know is why SG is wandering around down in South Harad? It almost looks like the army commander is drunk (or his leader mixed up W and E). I am not complaining, since my capital lives another turn. I am just surprised.

Another silent day, yet again. 
I read through the other posts, since I’m bored this turn, and noticed the Northmen complained about not finding any of the hordes. Just ask him to travel to his ally to the west, and I am pretty sure he can find the hordes. They seem to be leaving quite a trail of bodies behind them, so they should be easy to find.
