ME88 - the battle continues

We heartily thank the inhabitants of South Gondor for their exceptional hospitality. Wherever we go, the citizens open their city gates for us and line the streets, cheering.

Alas the outgoing ‘leadership’ are still causing some minor problems. A bunch of vandals swept in to Glanhir from neighbouring villages, a rabble roused by the vagabonds Paddro and Stromlord. They caused much damage to local shops and businesses.

Hold on, good citizens! We will return to turf out those miscreants and make them rue the day they disturbed your peace!

Ren the Unclean.

PS - apologies for the new thread, I was blocked from posting to the old one for some reason.

I’ve been given to understand that SGo depores your crimes and not to mention the smell of Ren the Unclean and is going to wash away the filth that currently is residing in some of his holdings. When he catches up with Ren he is going to make him take a BATH.

On another note me thinks you should be concentrating on Mordor rather than far flung fields. We have already opened its door and soon it will be time to reap the harvest. The herdsmen are a coming!!!

Ian - Sinda (information services)

I’ve heard Barad Ungol is a nice holiday spot this time of year, once I’ve dealt with these marauding Easterling invaders in the Rhun/Rhovanion I’ll send some of the lads for a visit, say three or four turns time
I’ll stop off at Durthang on route as it’d be rude not too.

Matt - Eo

Where is all the trash talking from the DS this turn? Oh I see there is none.

The only good thing you managed last turn was to relocate the NM again but me thinks the Easterlings have bitten off more than they can chew, time to get rid of them in and around Rhun.

I hope you noticed that we Free can recruit dragons to  As well as other things

Sinda scum, bath-scum if you like,

We thought to take your kind advice, took a bath and … foul treachery! someone filled with acid! I shall retire my immortal form and gnaw away the shadows of some dark dungeon until this age of the world is passed; I pass on my royal crown, and will return when my magic has restored me to my former beauty.

  • ex-Ren

Acid, no we free peoples would never stoop so low, all that was used was clear spring water with no additional additives

Ugh! Clear spring water, probably fizzy too and in a posh bottle! Only an elf would think of such a horror. No wonder it had such a dire effect.

From the Free side it looks as though the Gondors are taking it hard but thats about it.

The Easterling offensive has been dealt with and he is now on the defensive. With just 3 DS armies left in and around Rhun, by the end of next turn I hope to make that 0 DS armies. Can you guess how many FP armies there are?

Hope the IK likes his relocation package that we are offering him, he will soon need it.

Tell me I know you are 3 Nazgul down, how long do you reckon it will be until the other 6 follow suit?

Cheers,

P.S. yep fizzy & a posh bottle.

Another turn is run! And half our turns are in, from what I can so far see it was another good one for us Free. Poor DS did you lose a couple of agents? How is the IK liking it when he wakes up in the morning to find stumpies wandering around Durthang? Is the FK or DkL’s next? Oh look there are some DS armies and pop centres around Rhun, no there’s not

Another excellant turn for the Sinda :stuck_out_tongue:

Tell me after the game how many characters were in that IK army that just got over-ran by my frilly clothed, mushroom eating Elves. Guess you DS now know that I mean business, just a quick hop and a skip away from the FK capital. I wonder what colour my troops will paint it with - Orc Red comes to to mind

Oh dear oh dear, poor DS. After having a look at most of the turns it seems not only did the IK have an army over-run but his capital had a Stumpie infestation and had to be demolished to clear the air. Not only that but Urzahil the would be Nazgul is no more as is 2 Corsair starting characters. You also lost the ROW (how many times has that changed hands now) and will soon be looking for more backup MT’s for the FK & DkL’s. Also the Rhun area is all but clear of the Easterlings, just a camp & village left, though is that a new army come to the slaughter.

It would be great to hear any reply but I gather the rest of the Nazguls are hiding in case they are next - TAG

Dash…and blast…those Dwarves beat me to the FK’s capital though I do have the compensation of being on the DkL’s capital along with an Eoth army.

Let me see thats another 2 capitals to fall, 1 more town, another village and thats just Mordor

Poor DS did you lose some more agents this turn. Wait is Ji next or even Din? Well thats about the only 2 decent ones you have left

Oh is that another another nation you have lost or is that two more :stuck_out_tongue: So difficult keeping count.

Cheers,
Ian - Sinda information servces

…bump…

Yet again the ROW changes hands…no one can put it to use as everyone knows where it is.

As promisded another 2 DS capitals fell and this turn will see another one fall, though its only the new FK capital. Its only a matter of time before we get them all

It looks as though Harad is starting to pay the ferryman as well, thats what he gets for going DS.

The Blind Sorcerer warmly welcomes the Sinda to Mordor. Thanks for feeding the dragon.

Your welcome, plenty more where they came from and I mean plenty. You DS need more than just 1 dragon though or should I say more than 1 army to defend Inner Mordor. We FP like Inner Mordor by torchlight…

Cheers,

Tell me does the DS think they did well at the Sinda capital? Sure you got two of mine both new emmies but I got Din O and a CL agent

Ian

I believe now that turn 22 has run the DS are conceeding defeat to the valient Free Peoples. They can’t stand to watch as one foul nation falls one after another and the remainder would rather save their horrible lives by listening to music, having flower arranging lessons and wearing frilly shirts.

Well done to all who took part especially to the Duns & Rhu who joined the Free while the southern neuts joined the DS.

Thanks to all both dark and light for a great game. The darkside kept us on our toes to the end. All the best and see some of you in a future game.
All the best
