ME90 Corsairs to FP and DS

What a disappointingly short game gentlemen!

First in the VPs! Against all my principles and opinions on the VPs, and having never been placed before, quite embarrassing.

FP, sorry not to have come in in time to make any difference - but who could have guessed that it would all be over in 11 turns? Well done to you all, the VP system sucks.

DS, if you want to know what finally pushed me away from you, it was the desperate DoL plea of 2 or 3 turns ago. I had said from early on that I look to join a team which could win. I thought the DoL letter showed a losing attitude. On the MEPBM list the other day someone said "When the karibou bleets the wolves run faster" - sums up this situation excellently. I know you were horribly let down early on by Irvings and droppers - thanks to those of you who did at least play on for as long as it lasted. I guess that when you heard the mighty Corsair had declared against you, you knew it was time to throw in the towel eh

Hope you all find your next games a little more rewarding. Thanks for your company in this one.

The Mighty Corsair turned against us? Did he? Ahh well....

To all involved - thanks for the game, a well co-ordinated FP attack that
benefited from some very bad luck with a couple of key drops in the DS camp
very early on. The way you then exploited that advantage did you a lot of
credit so a very well deserved win!

Just a quick note to Laurence though - hope you looked after the dogs at
Vamag, and kept the carpets clean. I may have been a Nazgul but I did have
certain housekeeping standards ;-).

Currently selling off a large range of 14 brand new camp sites, all with hot
and cold running slaves and a range of extra facilities to entice even the
most picky prospective purchaser. One careful owner, looking to turn the
job lot into beach resorts (well there's an awful lot of sand) with the odd
skiing site thrown in.

All the best to everyone involved, and see you on the front line.

Cheers

Simon, 7 of 9, aka Quiet Avenger
