ME95, Last attempt at Peace

Hail Servants of Sauron,

The Lords of Gondor wish to seek a truce and hope we can find a diplomatic solution to our differences, We already see that hostile actions have been taken by the armies of the Fire King and Dark Lts. We ask, before hostilities begin, that they do not take any action against the peace loving folk of Gondor and come to the negotiating table first.

We greatly respect some of the rulers within your confederation, the CL comes to mind since we have encountered her before (although I won’t tell which game we share. We’ve never crossed swords yet Tine! Although I know you have questioned my play style).

What say you, Servants of the Dark!

Prince Celdrahil
Speaking for Tarondor, King of Gondor and Keeper of the Tree!

There is no time for peace unless the snivelling wetches of Gondor fall on their swords and freely give their cities, livestock and women to Mordor. Then we might give you
peace.

Guy Dk Lts

Although we are dissapointed at the response of the Dark Lts, the apparent emissary of the Dark Servants, we are not really surprised. Such as been their response in the past. We have, in good faith, approached you for peace. You have rebuked our overtures and now we must begin to defend ourselves. We admit that you may have caught us somewhat unprepared to repel your attacks over our vast realm. However, I assure, O Nazgul wanna be, you will rue not making peace this day!

To arms! To arms!

Prince Celdrahil
Speaking under the authority of Tarondor, King of Gondor and Keeper of the Tree!

Your vast realm will shrink and dissapear swiftly into whispers of a forgotton time.

There will be no peace between the lands of men and the Realm of Sauron.

Hello

Here Long Rider speaking!!

Very nice to see that NM have allowed me to land unopposed into Dilgul!!
Turn 1, NM looses one MT … not bad to begin with!!

By the way who is that Celdrahil? Do I have to pay a visit to you?? hummmmmmmm anyway first let me finish NM (about 5 turns) and I will make you the king of all Gondor (or the remainings of it) … If Tarondor dies, you would be the regent isn’t it?

Good luck Freepieeees (you’ll need it)

Bettine (CL) stop naming those pathetic Characters, for god’s sake!!!

Hi George,
nice to play against you again. Thanks for the compliments! You got some of my attention as QA in #92 quite early (turn 3), but you didn’t notice since some woses killed my navy (all of it??? ) when I landed at 1014. Consider yourself lucky since the Noldo navy was at 1015… But I promised to keep you entertained and so I will. Just for the record, you might have noticed that our WK dropped unannounced. I’ll be in charge of shadow orders; and I did last turn’s Rhudaur orders. You simply can’t escape me; my disguises are many… (it’s very handy for CLs, you know!). And as for criticising your playing style (SG passed it on, then???): It seemed as if you weren’t recruiting to the max, and in general our WK wasn’t too pressured (I criticized him as well, I thought he was playing too defensive  ). Well, let’s see that I can do better! I’m afraid you can’t escape my attention, and the word truce is not to be believed if uttered by the CL - so I won’t use it!
Cheers, Tine

Hello Tine!

When 92 is over I’ll send you my first 10 turns and then you will have an educated assumption of my recruiting! Its turn 10 and it over in the north! Too bad you didn’t run the Wk and Rhuboy from the get go. It would have been more fun then.

With regards to 95, this is my 1st go at SG and it will be fun. I know the NG player very well and I must say that we are quite aware of the “issues” we will have. When you play Gondor, never get attached to a character. They are all fodder.

I can promise you your allies will be CRYING for your assistance ALL GAME LONG!

However long it may be!

George…SG95

How is it that a DS is running an neutral nation without us even hearing about a dropped position? I’d like to have picked up Rhudaur also, but I don’t recall getting an email to do so.

>> “Just for the record, you might have noticed that our WK dropped unannounced. I’ll be in charge of shadow orders; and I did last turn’s Rhudaur orders.” <<

Not exactly fair and sporting competition is it, when one DS has three nations to run by turn 3, and one of them still appears as a neutral.

Anyone care to shed some light here?

James
Prime Minster of Cardolan

You’ve totally got your facts wrong.

  1. No DS player is running 2 nations
  2. The Wk has’nt dropped, far from it.
  3. Its ludricous stating we are running the Rhuduar, just isn’t true.

Maybe you guys are so upset from the 1st 3 turns that you have to make up
stuff like this… Aaaaaaaaw bless

Guy Dk Lts

James,

If you look closely at Tine’s post you will see she is talking about game 92…

Guy

I’lll deffo agree here!!

The DS are not running Rhudaur, I am and have been since the start…

To Whom it may concern…

Lord Arfanhil, in his wisdom has decided to ally himself with the Free Peoples… The Nation of Rhudaur now count the Minions of Sauron as enemies…

Good, more humans to kill, finger licking good

To all,

To make it clear, TINE was refering to game 92 where we play on opposing teams and she has assumed the Rhuadar nation there. Hope that helps.

SG95

A valiant battle at Os. The Freeps are showing a little spunk. We are liking that…
