SAVED BY THE WYRM!!

Kudos to you Rhuadar! I did not expect another wyrm at 2008. But thats ok, there are bright spots to everything! I thought it very colorful on your part to say your good byes and the “its been a learning experience” bit. Don’t bother saying it again!

Its been a fun game, don’t know how much longer it will last but I appreciate you guys letting me knock the rust off my Middle Earth gaming. Back from a many months hiatus.

Its been great seeing thousands slaughtered on the battlefield.

Hee hee!

Ok, I confess that I guessed you’d win the battle, but that the dragon would kill juusssttt enough people that you’d survive to impale yourself on the walls of Cameth Brin. Or that’s what I hoped anyway.

The only problem was that you had so many forces there, it came down to “How much damage will the dragon do?” I was seriously concerned that you had so many forces there that the Dragon would eat say, half, but that you’d still have enough to overwhelm the heroic defenders of Cameth Brin.

If I would have known that Big Lizard was there I would have known we were going to destroy each other. Without the wyrm, Cameth Brin was toast.

It’ll be interesting to see what you do now. You gotta be running some serious deficits and getting much aid from your allies with either pop centers or constant infusions of gold. We shall see how things developed. The WK army at 1708 was defeated, sorry he didn’t have a dragon this time! And I’m sure you can see more FP in your area.

I got to ask, what caused you to go DS from the get go? Did you decide that going in or not?

Things in the south just got more interesting. You know what they say if you mess with the bull be prepared to deal with the horns!

Overall though, it will be extremely difficult for us to overcome the DS. But at least we will enjoy trying!
