I've had a couple requests for the link, so for those are just getting into MePBM,
below is the link for the MePBM Turn Assist and 4th Age Setup files. These files were
made in Excel 2000, and though some of the formatting tricks might not work as planned
in earlier versions, the formulas should work fine. (Obviously, you'll need Excel to
use them.) The files can be downloaded at:
MePBM Turn Assist File: This automates much of your turn, and includes:
- A Worksheet that automates much of the character order work.
- An E-Mail friendly orders sheet that gets the data from the worksheet and can be
copied into a plain text E-Mail.
- A Calculator for armies, PCs, and economy stuff.
- Nation and notes sheets for keeping notes on.
- Orders Info sheet which lists all the orders and required info.
- Other Info sheet, which has various useful info.
- Artifact listing and tracking sheet, with filters enabled.
MePBM FA1000 Nation Setup Assist File: This automates much of the nation setup process
for MePBM 4th Age games, and includes:
- The Setup Sheets for the North Kingdom, South Kingdom, and other Nations, (formatted
very close to the original PDF file), that automates and calculates all the costs for
the various sections.
- E-Mail friendly sheets that get their data from the Setup Sheets, and convert it
into a format suitable for a plain text E-Mail which can be sent to Harlequin.
- An SNA listing, including costs. (This info is automatically updated to the Setup
Sheet.)
There is also a form on the site which you can use to request update notifications
when these files get revised. (You won't get notified of updates unless you fill out
this form.)
If anyone finds any errors, please let me know. Comments and suggestions are also
welcome.
For those of us who don't have excel, perhaps, after a while, someone would be good enough to write a short review of this, and post it here for us. (No, not of Excel, I mean of MEPBM Turn Assist File).
Is it good enough to justify buying a copy of Excel?

Who would ever do _that_??? (unless it came "bundled" with a computer, or
perhaps other software you wanted/needed)
It's called "BearShare" - check it out!

Just downloaded the turn assist spreadsheet, a damn fine piece of work it is
too! I'd say Laurence should nip out and get himself a copy of Excel right
now
Mike, it may be a daft question, but what do you do for a living?
