It wouldn't explode around me.. I am used to having around 200 or more
e-mails a day coming through my system and I read and answer most of them.
All of them are game related and I even remember going away for a week and
coming back to nearly 4000 messages (In one folder. I have 23 on the e-mail
to help sort things <grin>).

This is not in any way a busy site and if it does get busy you can
easily adjust to recieve one message a day.

I find this a perfectly acceptable way of communicating between

players.

I even moderate a host of lists and they are easy to manage and maintain.

You must not have a life. I get a similar number of messages a day and I
really don't need another 150 a day. Infact, I did what I suspect most US
players will do, I stopped receiving the messages as of today. Its really
cool, but I need to have it pre-sorted. The Deft board does that, so I don't
need to look at 4th age message because I'm not in any 4th age games. Also,
when I'm in a game, I can follow a thread and ignore other games until I have
time to come back to them.

You really have no idea of how many messages will begin to pour into this
list. Just the first few days that the US players started messaging, I saw
over 10 messages asking what the Deft board was and where to find it. There
were another 8 messages answering the question. This PROVES, that users can't
or don't sort their messages first. The Deft board takes care of that for
you. Also, Please explain to me why you would NOT want to have messages
sorted? If you get half as much email as you say, then you would have more
time to spend on the content of messages than having to sort it out first or
finding a pourly labled message later that is about something you already
sent a reply to the board.

Change hurts, but it can ber good!
