Message Boards

Are you seriously telling me that not a single solitary
company in the United Kingdom offers unlimited
internet access? High speed? Coaxial (sp?) cable?

Very odd. We have an impression of Europeans often
being ahead of us with regards to technological
consumer goods (at least here in Canada, maybe an
unnecessary inferiority complex...??).

Geez, if that's the case, either you folks present a
huge market for a business, or you're regulated to
death......

Hi,
I have taken a look at the message boards and would now
agree that they are easier to use - the threading is better
and it's much simpler to ignore stuff which doesn't interest
you.

BUT ...

I still think it's unreasonable for people to have to pay
for an online service! I'm lucky in that I don't pay for net
access, but most people in the UK do. In addition I've
noticed a couple of US players saying they won't subscribe
to this mailing list. I understand why - but bear in mind
that Harlequin use this for general announcements. Why
should people have to pay to view such annoucnements?

I question whether this mailing list will continue to be so
active. Given there are about the same number of players in
the US and UK / Europe, it seems likely that the general
trend will be towards double the volume we had before, which
is quite manageable.

Unless of course US players post more messages since they
have free net access?

Colin.
