Just curious...is all this neutral smacking, et al, going on in
FA games? I only play 1650, and, frankly, don't see where one would
find the time.

We have found the time in 117 where the remaining neutral insisted to send
gold to the FP around turn 35. He soon found out how we felt about that.

There's about 7 of them in FA I believe, and a (stupid IMO) system which
allows/encourages them to group together and achieve a "neutral
victory". I suppose though it does have the one advantage of making the
bully's think twice before they decide to take the lunch money from the
little lads.

We have had a lot of players enjoy the 3way battle ( I know you guys did not
enjoy the 3way but i have heard some good reports now.) As the Neutrals are
able to join any of 3 sides it gives them some more strength for what is
generally considered the weaker power (you can't start in Mountains as a
Neutral) and I have seen some changes back and fore which made for an
interesting game. After a certain turn the Neutrals have to fly their
colours though which I think is an excellent mechanism.
