If you disallow adding it to agent rank then everyone will simply put it in
emmy rank and the camp limit will be reached earlier.

The QA will win big time out of this, which maybe isn't such a bad thing as
this nation could use a little tweaking.

But I don't really like the whole idea.

People who want to tweak things should go play 1000.

1000 is majorly different to this. Small tweaks to improve or add a little
spice to the 1650 game that has been running for ages seem okay to me. Not
sure if this comes from a player who plays 1650, 1000 now or what? (Would
help me to have a perspective on it).

I haven't really had a lot of WOW let me play for this so probably will
leave it.

Perhaps allowing people to add the 10 or 20 points to an area where a
character doesn't already have the skill, instead of boosting a skill
they already have?

i.e. CL could have Araudagul (that CL commander with 20 stealth)
start with 10 (or 20) points of agent skill... or NM gives Dudannis
10 command points...

This idea has a lot of promise, but it somehow needs to be controlled
somewhat, because as someone said... otherwise people will start with
higher ranking agents and emmies early, which will lead to less of an
early game (army tactics) and more of a mid to late game (character
war).

How about 2 X 10 points, anywhere, but no 1 addition of 20 on any
character/skill?.

For example, 10 added to Marahil's agent rank, and 10 added to
Baranor's mage rank, or 10 added to Marahil's agent rank AND 10 added
to Marahil's emissary rank, but never 20 on anything....

I'll play in one of those games. How about a free game for play
testing? I'll take any neutral.... :wink:
