1) Harlequin run it (or at least send the info they have to Kim) rather
than Kim asking for input from players. The statistics in Kim's table are
from his own experience, and are as he said, pretty biased towards him.
Harlequin have all the info on hand already don't they?
Any info we have passed onto Kim as he requested it and took the time and
trouble to collate it all. Try sending it to both so if by email?
2) The scoring system for PLAYERS should change. If you win, double the
points below. If you place you just get the points...I would suggest....
Cloud Lord, Noldo, Corsairs.... 1 point.
Long Rider, South Gondor, Harad..... 2 points.
Dark Lts, Sinda, North Gondor .... 3 points
Arthedain, Dog Lord, Easterlings .... 4 Points
Ice King, Eothraim, Dunlendings .... 5 points
Dwarves, Fire King, Blind Sorceror, Cardolan .... 6 points
Witch King, Northmen, Quiet Avenger .... 8 points
Don't agree about the WK as he either gets kicked or wins a lot if he
doesn't get kicked (and has a lot of "fun" along the way).
Dragon Lord, Rhudaur, Woodmen .... 10 points
I like this a lot - but then I was always one for the underdog... There
might be minor changes to this - we could do it if players want?

3) Record how many positions a player has played.
I concur playing 20 games and winning 5 times or 100 games and 10 times has
a different scale. personally when I play I am not interested in the
individual prize - but for those of you who find it important (and I have no
problem with that) this could be done.
4) If a player places from a standby position, add an extra 5 points.
Not sure about this one.
Doing this, Harlequin might get some people taking the harder positions
rather than
the mad dash for the 'glory' positions that takes place at the moment?
I doubt that this will sort it out but will help. I am more for tweeking
the set-ups a little with pre-aligned Neutral positions.
They might also fill standby positions more easily?
Not too hard to do really we get a couple of difficult ones but mostly due
to them being in a bad way when they are dropped.
And as a prize? Well they could start by buying the odd drink at the
pubmeets!
Heh - this is one of the few perks GMs get - it is an unwritten rule that
PLAYERS (that's you lot) buy us GMS (that's us) drinks. If we can get a
collection for a meal and travel expenses that would be cool as well..
Disagree???
Bien Sur.

Just saw this in the adverts at the end - most amusing... :-0
