Middle Earth Play By Mail needs to be advertised!

Hey Russ,

Back when I first played, 1650 was more popular to begin with, but then 2950 became so. I think people were just becoming fed up with the "unfair" advantage that the Dark Servants had in the long run, especially if it were a team game.

Being I haven't yet played under the new management of Harlequin Games (waiting for a 2950 and FA1000 game since November), it appears that 1650 is still more popular, though I don't really know why? Maybe it's the larger armies? Who knows?...

It appears the current player pool is small, perhaps being stretched thin with all these different scenarios, and games will invariably take a longer time to start. They should stick with a few scenarios so that new games are always under way.

I played off-and-on from 1996 to about 2004. I've thought about taking another shot at it.

I remember preferring the 2950 module but it seemed like it was less popular (and thus longer to fill a game) than 1650. Is this still the case? And how about the other modules such as 4th Age and Untold War of the Ring? How popular are these?
