Hya -we need 3 more players to play against us for the DS - any takers out
there? Get your chance to take your revenge on us poor GMs.
Clint (GM)
Now Clint the player
Serious bit (apologies in advance) as there has been some disputes in the
past about GMs if you are not 100% confident with us playing impartially I
would strongly recommend you not playing. We have around 6 of our Cardiff
friends playing and it's taken nearly 3 yrs to get them to play so on a
personal point I would not be happy if the game ended due to a dispute about
this. Rob's rulings are final - for us all and yes he does penalise us
more!
I am not particularly interested (nor any of us) in playing with
against players who hold a grudge against us personally and want to "teach
us a lesson". Kicking our butts is fine btw...
Okay soapbox away - we want to have a fun serious game with a group of
friends who played CTF in a team years ago. We have a good, but
inexperienced, team who enjoy gaming a lot and we want to show them a good
time and the coolness of the game. It's nice to see Stu enthusiastic about
playing the game as well (his first game in many years).
Thanks - let's have fun... Clint

Just to clarify... This is a 1650 game? If it were a FA1000 game (and especially an
Agent Limited game of some sort), I'd jump right in. While the 1650 scenario may be
the most popular, I'm way too used to building my own nation to settle for the
"historical" ones anymore. (I think I've played more FA ones than 1650/2950 by now!)
In any case, I can't remember which type of game you were getting together, so you
might want to clarify that for those interested in only certain scenarios.
