Okay ran a few simulations with the version 1.0 (good enough for this).
It comes up with 6x% (x between 2-7%) with the complete accurate information
from both sides.
With no fortifications 5y% (y between 3-8)
So I ran a back-up copy without any fortifications @2715 at all. The
Attacking woodmen army wins then (dies in combat against the PC btw) but
beats up the army. So my conclusion is that the emulator does not properly
bring into calculations the Fortifications.
Changing the battle to a 230 order rather than a 255 order (still no
fortifications) leaves:
Woodmen with 3z% (z between 0-5) of the troops. (Rather than the 5y% that
the emulator shows).
(Note a re-run of the battle with 230 orders, fortifications intact leads to
the Woodmen army still losing against the Dragon Lord army the DrL ending up
with exactly the same army at the end of the battle).
