its not what they did, its should they be given the same human understanding
we are expected to give to other members of the community ?
That depends on what we regard as "human understanding". Do they deserve food, medical care and access to any religion which does not actively promote antisocial behavior? Certainly. Do we have an obligation to treat them the same as we would treat individuals NOT serving long prison sentences (and a complete MEPBM game including time for registration etc is likely to be at least a year. I dont think our typical case is the MEPBM gamer who enters prison while already in a game)? I would say no. If including incarcerated murderers became a common practice I would certainly begin keeping my contact information private, and would stop signing up for any games where I did not know my teammates beforehand. I am not saying that some of them are not good people. I AM saying that I don't pick up hitchhikers off the Interstate because I consider that to be dangerous, and I consider the typical prison inmate on average to be a bit more dangerous than a hitchhiker.
