Middle Earth

Hi,

1) WOW - outstanding - want to have our children

I believe that I'm on record as saying that other PBM
companies (especially large ones ...) could learn a hell of
a lot from the way Harlequin operate. Sure, Harlequin (MEPBM
Games - whatever) have got some good games, but the real
reason for their success is the service they provide and,
put wuite simply, the fact that they are good at their job.

To put this into prerspective for our US friends, Harlequin
are probably the second biggest PBM company in the UK - a
status that has been achieved whilst running games that have
greater depth and complexity than those run by their closest
'rivals'.

No quips about having your children guys (OK, does the world
need more Welshmen?) but if anyone answers with the email
equivalent of a thrown egg, will you guys be throwing any
punches?

Colin.

Not allowed to - we're a safe target. We've got a list in the office now
though...

Colin.

Only if I have too!

Being from the US, and living through GSI and DGE customer service,
I am 95% elated with Middle Earth Games. The personal responses via e-mail,
the manner of payment, and continuous good service is very, very good.
So far my only bad experience has been with either Middle Earth Games (UK),
or its
U.S. "ENVOY" Ray Technologies in messing up a "winner certificate" placement
in a recent game. Middle Earth Games stated they would honor the old GSI
game winner
Certificates and didn't completely follow through on this. Two out of three
of us did get our nation
requested and that isn't too bad but still one of my team mates was given a
nation
he didn't want. Enough said on this matter. Nevertheless, I will be around
for quite some time.

George
