Mike Barber's note

... just thought of something so please excuse the two separate emails.
Obviously if there was a player base for communicative players and non then
we can support that.

RD: I tend to join games with at least some of the same players each time,
because I know I can rely on them to communicate.

A non-communicative game would be very interesting, as each player would
have to find out everything for himself, none of this info-swapping each
turn. But how could you be sure it wasn't abused? It's sooo easy for
emailers to swap numbers, and how can you be sure that some of the players
don't know each other from previous games?

Regards,

Richard.

Most players do but not all.

The NKA games have this as a pre-requisite not sure how successful it is.
For example John and I are playing in the latest NKA game - but we have not
diplomed other than me informing him that there was such a style of game and
would he want to play in it. Upto each of the players concerned own
morality here I would guess as there is no way it could be enforced by us.
Lots of aspects of the game are like that, playing two positions,
pre-aligned Neutrals etc.

Whoa! The "NKA Contract" says only that you can't contact other nations UNTIL YOU
HAVE YOUR TURN 0 RESULTS. It's perfectly acceptable to contact everyone after that and
conduct all the diplomacy you want. (You must be that nation that no one else can get
ahold of, so we're all assuming you're hostile!)
