I don’t agree with this move for this forum. I feel it should be open. If nothing else, it’s going to slow things down. I’ve had a few bursts of posting with other members in such a quick real-time manner that it’s bordered on an actual conversation…faster than email even.
If people are rude, people are rude. Are there people whining and complaining to MEGames? Can we get over the political “everyone be nice” correctness BS we’re inundated with in RL? I believe MEGames has better things to do.

I agree with Brad. If someone crosses the line and becomes outright offensive with no intent but to anger people, sure, do something about it. Restrict their access to the board, kick them out, whatever. Generally, though, I appreciate seeing how rude people can be. I like to see people for the way they really are and not how they act when being “policed”. Just my opinion,

I started a thread about moderation but because it hadn’t appeared in the forum due to the delay of posts appearing, Brad started another one. (or vice versa) .So now we’ve got 2 moderation threads going…chaos…
It started already on the first day of moderation.
Please re-consider Clint. Moderating this forum in the same way as the yahoo group just ain’t feasible and it has the potential to be the death of any form of mepbm online community.
I for one will likely just give up on the forum and yahoo list and just run into my hobbit hole…
