It’s funny how everyone always whines and complains about neutrals, but every time I try to join a game as one I’m told “We have 27 people who want to play neutrals in this game and only 3 allied players - would you be able to play an allied nation?”
It seems to me that people don’t hate neutrals, they’re just bitter they didn’t get to be one. Jealousy, funny how emotional we get…
So I suppose part of the concern is HOW does the company pick the 5 neutrals out of the dozens of applicants?
Another part of the concern is people don’t read their long front sheets, don’t read the house rules necessarily, etc. I barely do, I don’t expect anyone else to… How about a pre-game reminder note with your Turn 0 set up files?

This is an Independent Game - Communication is crucial to success~!!! Get in touch with your teammates. The Allegiance that works together better will win more often than not. GET IN TOUCH WITH THE NEUTRALS~! These players often choose neutrals because they enjoy the diplomatic or role playing aspects of the game~! You can:
Send an email to the mepbmlist@yahoogroups.com email address. Post a message (or follow the message already posted for this game…) at pbmforum.com or send us an email to me@middleearthgames.com with ‘diplo’ in the subject line and we’ll pass the message on to the nation of your choice. See the House Rules {http link here} for more information.
Good Gaming~!
