Disappointed with the neutral splits in the last two one week games , as i was , and I was a neutral in both those !!
So join to balance things…if you can hold out that long… 
Where are all the one week guys? I cannot believe it is taking this long to launch this game. Mike (Blue Knight) are you in? Gixxxer are you? Come on guys… Terry did you sign? I know Brad did but what about Bradford? Kieth, Ian, Bettina,Tom Hello!! is anyone there? John, Darrin, Mike K are you guys playing? We have cats with hairy paws:eek:

I joined the last two one weekers and to tell you the truth was very disappointed – it was so unevenly matched in both games and it was because of the neutrals , and yes I played a neutral in both , but did try to be fair and balanced on which side I joined or in last one I would never have gone evil just to win , if do decide to join next one weeker and same thing happens with the unbalancing of neutrals shall never join another one weeker , this could be why those others are not joining the one weekers now !!

FWIW, there are at least two neutrals in this one that were not in any of the previous 1-weekers at all.

I have been disappointed in the last two one-week games, and have no real desire to sign up for another.
In the first game, the Free imploded and the bulk of the neutrals joined the Darks (including myself, though I thought long and hard about it). My recollection is the Eothraim bankrupted turn three or so with the game over around turn ten. Not much fun as a neutral Harad.
In the second game, the Darks imploded and the bulk of the neutrals joined the Free. The Witch King bankrupted on turn three in this one, and the Easterlings went off and decided to play a “mercenary” game, which made the game somewhat strange from the beginning. I played the Dragon Lord in that game, but it was a cramped style, as economics were rough, the strong economies went free (Harad, Corsairs) and I had to make certain that I couldn’t be bankrupted. First time I’ve ever really gotten to play the Dragon Lord, and I didn’t even get to have the fun with it that I’d planned because things fell apart too quickly.
Enough is enough.
The pace is almost too rapid for my tastes-- if I go out of town for the weekend (which happens frequently), it’s a race to get the orders together and coordinate with team mates. Although I enjoyed the one-week gunboat immensely, we weren’t coordinating with one another so communication wasn’t a problem. I may be in the minority, but I’m not certain that one-week games are ideal, even in the email era.

Mike and Bradford - yes, the 2 previous 1 weekers were painful with consecutive Turn 3 TW blow ups. Consider the odds of a 3rd in a row… Come now, we might have an excellent game coming up~!

I almost feel the traditional neutrals don’t suit the 1 week format. It is very hard to get all the teams orders in on time let alone formulate a message to the neutrals that will make sense and be of use to them in a week. Still I like the short turn around as I am always hanging for my turn.
P.S Someone challenge the Bloodgaurd, we are dying for another game!

Why not try being a neutral again? You do not have to do all the coordinating until you declare. Then since the other games were over by turn ten state you will not declare until ten. Seems a shame to not have you with us. You did do very well with the Dragon Lord and cricket to you ol’boy. I think you should play as change only comes from within;)
