So, that means you’ll be declaring for the side that communicates less and offers nothing? Have fun with that. 
Seriously, though, griping about neutrals is as old as the game itself. One side always seems to be dissatisfied by the way it turns out. All you can do is make the best possible effort to recruit them - if you don’t do that, then you’re got very little right to complain when the split doesn’t favor you.

Well I done signed up… But then again judging by the last two I could be gone quickly again from self inflicted wounds!:
ME 87 - I remember emailing the neutrals and not getting a reply. I believe my offer was anything my nation could offer you. I’m a team player and don’t try to have the high score. 
So my anything was really anything.
(Exceptions to that were the Dunlendings who just wanted a fun game and the Easterlings which I’m not sure ever really played???) :eek:
ME 22 - I am a freakin neutral and still can’t get the Khand Easterlings to say hi. :mad:
But hey that is my experience after coming back from a long vacation from the game.

Actually, most just want a fun game, not just Mike in 87… And quite often, you’ll find neutrals willing to listen but if they don’t hear anything of interest, they won’t engage… “Whatever you need, just ask” is about 4.2% as effective as “If you were interested in X then we could do Y to help you out”…for example. Shows the difference between being willing to give and having the vision to determine where giving (and recieving) might be necessary or of interest.
Consider an anecdote from a recent game: Southern Gondor offered my Duns the Ring of Impersonation. Well, that’s certainly “willing to give” ----BUT---- the implications were “The team isn’t playing well together” and/or “The Elves are boneheads”. I quite quickly arranged to attack Southern Gondor…it was rapidly proven the correct decision towards a DS romp over the hapless and fractured FP.
Well, I guess I better find a nice, cozy and secure little nation lest you ear-plug neutrals are attracted to the vibration…

Yeah know Gixxxer does have an interesting idea.
What if we ran a one week with pre determined neutrals. Do something nuts like Dark get Rhudaur, Easterlings and Corsairs. The Free get the Harad and Dunleding. It would of course need consent from the group of players. The thing is we can only run one 1 week game at a time due to not enough player in the pool. The level of coordination required in a one week is just about a grudge type anyway. Would anyone be interested in something like that? Let’s get a list going and see if send we send it up the flag pole anyone salutes.
I’m signed up requesting a neutral and if that’s what everyone wants I’m okay with it.
