I just thought it was fair to alert you that I’m not going anywhere…regardless of what everyone else does. I’m still amusing myself in Mirkwood and have a number of additional tricks to pull, so as a courtesy-- it’s not “officially” over.
I think that there are one or two others who are still having fun (as I am), so you’ll need to kill us off. I dont’ mind losing, as long as it’s a fun trip. And I’m still having fun.

Neutrals didn’t do us in at all. There was only two that declared and they went and split so that wasn’t it. The problem that plagued this team is the same that killed the last one week. There is no need to dig any deeper. You cannot have a game with the Eothraim or Witch-King busting before turn 5:eek: Just doesn’t work. The other is due to the fact that out of the 25 players, 20 or more are veterans. The game merely slants to far in one directions and everyone quits. It is the nature of the beast. But I still enjoy it so I will see you one week players in the next. Thanks to all for a civil and entertaining game experience.
Doug - Harad and Corsairs have since gone Free People. How can you agree to quit without knowing that???

First of all my good man I haven’t tossed in the towel yet. It is in my hand though;) Do you think me so aloof I was unaware of the southern neutrals. The point I was making was that our side had issues going into this turn. The changing of the two economic behemoths to free merely sealed our fate. The market was so poor that three of our nations were about to follow the WK over the edge. We also had a couple team members in danger due to no back-up and needed a Corsair or Harad to help with a back-up or two. I really don’t understand all the energy devoted to complaining about this game ending so quickly. Why don’t we just get another one going?
There seems to be a core group of us that enjoy the one week concept. We don’t we get a group of players we all know and respect and get one going again? You guys are great at setting up threads and such. Have one with experienced neutrals or maybe Gixxxer’s idea about predetermined ones. The idea about the threeway battle sounds cool. Anyway hope you have a good weekend and hope to see you all in the next one.
I also want to point out to those considering a bug hunt that Clint usually only runs a single one week game at a time. So keeping this one afloat means others will have to wait. Just a thought to consider. I hold no view on this before you guys asail to dismember me:D

So the famous Corsairs don’t want their ships scattered to the winds or burned and left at the bottom of the ocean? So they surrendered and joined with the Gondorians like the cowards they are…
The famous war lords of the Harad also bowed down before the might of Gondorians as well…worshiping at the feet of Gondor like dogs.
And the endless hordes of the Easterling have decided to stand on the sidelines…
…the Rhuadians as well? Never mind…they are cowards and speedbumps in most games anyway…guess that isn’t a suprise that they serve at the boot heels of the elves.
Lots of cowardly neutrals in this game…but Gondor will need your help.

Capital Return
Perceive Allegiance isn’t too exciting. But the heal spells are great for agent or challenge characters, also to support double-casting mages. And the Capital Return is on a WK weapon (not that the WK would ever need to re-locate his capital )
The Free seem somewhat behind on new payments. We had some interesting contract proposals, and I’d be fascinated to start work on them once your account is up to date.
