New ME FA scenario "Death Match"

Greetings fellow ME players,

In constant search of new challenges within the excellent ME world,
David Clemmesen and I have designed a new scenario with 23 FP players
and two NPN (Non player Nations).
The scenario is based on the FA (4.age) scenario, with all the rules
that applies here and a lot of handmodified changes. As the kingdom
nations will be inactive/nonactive, this completely removes the
alliance factor and opens the way for a true All against all "death
match" !!!
This hereby introduces the diplomacy factor, as small formal
alliances can be made, in any possible way.

Furthermore both center and army startup will be more 1650-like,
meaning that all 23 players can design between 7 and 10 centers, with
a lot more money to upgrade for. Armies will be 10 times cheaper
meaning that you can start with 2.000 HC or 12.000 Men at arms.

All changes will have to be handmodified by Harlequin, as they dont
have license to program anything. So startup price will be higher
(Clint, is calculating right now :-)), but the normal turn fee will
be the same as FA.

As stated we need 23 players to start the scenario up with David and
I as the first two. So any interest in this scenario should be
forwarded to Clint in Harlequin and/or me (kan@dsb.dk). When we have
21 more players, the game will start up.

Here is some more details regarding the campagn.
Modifications includes:

- Modified starting design sheet for each player:
  1) New troop prices, 10 times cheaper
  2) 7-10 centers for all players, cheaper improvement and
           fortification prices
  3) Each Popcenter start with 1650 loyalty rules, that is:
     City = 100, MT = 75, Town = 60, Village = 45, Camp = 35
  4) Up to 30 points of Stealth possible for all starting
characters, at a price of 300 per 10 points of stealth
  5) SNA 31 (+20 kidnap/Assass) changed to 20.000 cost price

- Predesigned NPC (kingdom) nations, both capital and one additional
City at random location for each kingdom will be hidden and all
  characters are random named.

- Victory conditions (modified FA rules), the game ends when
  following occurs:
1)Turn 52 - the player with most VP wins (Automatic)
2)The two kingdom NPC nations are eliminated - controlled
kingdom capitals gives an additional 100 VP and player with
          most VP wins (Automatic)
3)The two kingdom capitals AND 5 out of 7 strategic centers
          are controlled by one player
          - the player wins the game (Automatic)
4)One player reaches 1800+ VP, starting from turn 10
          - The player wins the game (Manuel)

  * Manuel means that it cannot be programmed and that the
players / Harlequin will have to check manuel for this each
        turn.

- As all players will be FP batling each other, some orders
like "Change alliance" will be disabled.

Both Clint and I have the modified pdf sheet with the new prices for
designing your nation in this scenario.

Yours Kim Andersen

So if there is any interest in this please tell me and I can start a player
list going.

Maybe I'm missing something, but how are these nations supposed to
attack one another? Ordinarily FP's can't have worse than Neutral
relations, and you must at least Dislike someone to attack. Has this
been tweaked?

Actually, in 4th Age, you can have someone from your own allegiance Diskliked, (though
not hated). Also, you can have someone of opposite allegiance Tolerated, (though not
Liked).
